Who We Are


LEAP for Education empowers low income and first-generation-to-college students to perform at higher levels in middle school and high school, and to graduate college prepared to pursue a successful career that matches their strengths and passions.



We will become a premier, nationally recognized organization preparing low-income and/or first-generation-to-college youth to develop the skills to succeed in college and their careers.

What We Do

Academic Learning Programs

Grades: 6th-12th
Hours: Vary by location
Description: For middle and high school students, our Academic Learning programs provide low-income students in Salem and Gloucester with diverse, student-centered learning experiences.


The mission of the Academic Learning programs is to encourage teens to become active learners and to provide them with the support, advocacy, jobs and tools necessary for them to succeed, both socially and academically, and persist in education beyond high school.


College Success Programs

Grades: 10-college
Hours: Vary by location
Description: For college-bound students, our College Success programs provide low-income and first-generation college students in Salem and Peabody with college readiness and advisory services.


The mission of the College Success programs is to enable all of our students to complete post-secondary education so that they may continue independently on their journey to higher learning and rewarding careers.
