Volunteer Opportunity: Collection and Distribution

Primarily, we seek volunteers to help on a regular basis with the collection and distribution of donated food. Volunteers generally work in groups to collect food from grocery stores and bakeries, sort the food and then deliver it to social services agencies in the area.

Food Link operates seven days a week and there are several collection and distribution shifts available:

7am - 9:30am

9:30am - 12pm

9pm - 10:30pm

More information here.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

Can't commit to an ongoing volunteer commitment? Want to volunteer with children or with a group? Join us for other volunteer opportunities.

Opportunities include sorting non perishable food that is still safe to eat so we can distribute the food to organizations serving people in need; assisting at fundraisers and reaching out to the public at local events.

These activities may be appropriate for children over 8 years old and groups. Groups of 6 to 16 may be able to schedule a day and time specifically for their group.
